My name is Diana and I am an experienced childcare provider.I have been working with children ages 3 months up to 5 years old since 2008 and love watching the children grow. I think that taking care of children and helping them develop physically, emotionally,cognitively and socially is the best thing that can happen to someone. Also I am fully trained in Infant/Child/Adult CPR, as well as First Aid and Fire Safety. I have an Associate Degree in Child Development and in Marketing and Management, and have taken the following courses as well- Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care, Fundamentals of Family Child Care, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Prevention, Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention and I am constantly taking different classes, and participating in seminars so I can better care for children.
Ms. Lidia is a teacher assistant who loves to teach and works tirelessly to create an amazing, self- directed learning environment that meets the needs of each child in her care. She is CPR and First Aid certified and speaks English and Spanish. Ms. Lidia teaches the children to count in Spanish, the days of the week, the months of the year, colors, shapes and many other words.The children really enjoy singing songs in both languages. She is a mother of 4 children. Ms. Lidia has been with us since 2012 and is constantly taking Child Development classes to improve her knowledge and skills.
